In just under a month your MP will report back to Parliament on the level of support for marriage equality in your electorate. To show your support for equality email your MP again now! Then forward this email to friends, co-workers, and family.
Over the past weekend, we received a number of phone calls from fellow supporters, who while at their local churches were urgerd to attend the anti-equality rally in Canberra on August 16th. More than ever, those who oppose the rights of same-sex couples are mobilising and just last month delivered 32,297 letters to the Prime Minister.
They that “Ms Gillard said she greatly appreciated receiving the letters. She reiterated her support for the meaning marriage has had throughout recorded history”.
We need the voice of the majority of Australians who support marriage equality to be heard. We need your help to encourage as many friends and family to send letters to MPs by clicking here to “Say I DO” to marriage equality.
