If you missed our recent screening – don’t stress. Written and directed by gay filmmaker Thom Fitzgerald, Cloudburst is the story of Dot and Stella (portrayed by Academy Award-winners Olympia Dukakis and Brenda Fricker), a couple that has been together for 31 years. But to avoid the nursing home (and the wishes of her daughter), Stella and Dot do what they have to do to stay together: They take a road trip to Nova Scotia, where they can legally marry.
Momo Films has been kind enough to offer a limited number of early release Cloudburst DVDs to supporters of Australian Marriage Equality.
