The Supreme Court of the United States will need to brace for a huge response by corporations adding their voice to the fight for marriage equality by asking the country’s highest court to strike down the Defence of Marriage Act.
CNN reports over 60 companies have spoken up so far with “scores” more expected, including submissions filed by iconic companies like Apple, eBay, Levis Straus and Xerox.
Back home, Australian Marriage Equality spokesperson Rodney Croome is delighted that US corporations were weighing in, saying marriage equality enjoys similar support from high profile local companies as well.
