‘Wedding Vows’. This picture was taken on our wedding day in St Matthews in the City, Auckland on the 3rd November 2013. Although we would have liked to wed in Australia, we have many connections in New Zealand. Although we aren’t classed as a traditional partnership in the eyes of many, we wanted to have the traditional church marriage and have our union blessed before we embark on the road to beginning our family.
To say this was the happiest day of my life was a huge understatement. Many people have said this and to an extent, I thought it was cliche, however, I have to say, hand on heart this is the happiest I have ever been.
Getting married to my soul mate, in front of family and friends was not only a great honour and privilege, it was a dream come true.
