This was taken on our “wedding day” on November 14th 2009. Although it’s still not legal here to wed we love each other so much and wanted to show everyone else how we felt. To us and our 100 guest we are a married couple and are treated by our friends and family like one. We are now just waiting to be able to take the next step and have our marriage recognised so we can share the same securities that our friends have from a legalised marriage.
We have been together for 7yrs now and this was the most amazing day of my life. I look back at these photos regularly with the biggest smile on my face as I remember all the love I felt on this day.
