This image captures the absolute love and fun that Renee and I share in each and every day. The smile of pure joy on Renee’s face mirrors my own perfectly. Taken on our ‘wedding’ day on October 27th, 2012 in Civic Park, Newcastle. We shared the photo space with 4 other couples that day, we being the only same sex couple, and were greeted with nothing but praise love and acceptance. This photo makes me smile every time I look at it and I hope that with the help of this calendar we can raise some money, so that this union Renee and I share can be legally recognized in this great land of ours.
